World Oceans Day is celebrated every year on June 8, the anniversary of the World Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, and is an opportunity to reflect on the benefits that the oceans can offer us and the duty that falls on each individual and community.

On this day, AMCLN participates in the protection of the oceans and all ecosystems by reducing the use of materials and objects that can release substances characterized by microplastics into the marine environment and is also committed to reducing energy consumption in order to limit the increase in greenhouse gases, as they are absorbed by marine ecosystems.
