From October 20 to 24, 2025, the European Week for Safety and Health at Work will be celebrated across Europe, at the initiative of EU-OSHA.
This year edition represents the culmination of the three-year 2023-2025 campaign entitled "Healthy Workplaces. Health and Safety at Work in the Digital Age."
The focus is on the challenges and opportunities associated with the digitalization of the world of work, from teleworking to automation, from connected devices to new organizational models, ensuring that safety is integrated from the design stage of digital processes.
New technological tools (sensors, smart devices, artificial intelligence) require an evolution in the culture of prevention: not only protection from physical or mechanical risks, but also attention to intangible factors such as the pace imposed by technology, remote working, isolation, or digital surveillance, which impact the psychological and physical well-being of workers.
For businesses, the week is an opportunity to promote reflection and training on the topic of safety in digitalization. For workers, it is an invitation to observe how their work environments and processes are changing, identifying and proposing new prevention and protection methods.
