Further to the closing of the deal, which took place on June 28th 2019, between ArcelorMittal and Liberty Steel, ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia srl has completed the sale of its own remedies that were part of the original agreement between ArcelorMittal and Liberty.
As a result, starting from July 1st 2019, four steel service centres - originally part of the ArcelorMittal CLN footprint - have been sold to AARTEE Distribuzione Italia Srl, a company of the Liberty Steel Group operating in the distribution business from steel service centres (SSC) in Italy.
The four steel service centres involved are Arcore, Graffignana, Quarto Inferiore and Rieti; from 1/7/19, these sites will be operating on the market, in complete continuity of services and services, as per the agreement undertaken by ArcelorMittal with the European Community.
